Chunks and bumps

Another day of no snow on the mountain, but a tough one none the less. We had Dwight today, which due to injury is actually one of the first times ive had him as my sole instructor. It started off with a few tree runs and then progressed onto training mogul runs, or as Wendy identifies them - chunks and bumps. I found that i was getting much better at reading lines and my reactions were much quicker, allowing me to maintain a bit more flow. We also sessioned one of K.C Chutes which is about 20ft wide, so really makes you commit to your turns!

The day was over all too soon again, so time to head to the Griz bar for some apres ski drinks. Thirsty Thursday was in full swing again, and boy was it thirsty!

Phil and his collection of empty pitchers!

Tonight was supposed to be the final of the foosball tournament, but unfortunately Fiona has caught the Fernie Flu and it has been postponed until next week thanks to some sporting behaviour from the other players...

Thats why i go there!

Turns out our lunch breaks are too long...
